One of the most talented actor and writer in Punjabi film industry, Rana Ranbir will turning a director with a movie titled ‘Asees’. The movie will be released in 22 June 2018.
While the casting of Asees has already been done and is being kept under wraps for now, the team is busy scoring the music for the movie. Rana said the movie will carry a social message. He said he had been planning to wear the director’s hat for quite some time now and finally wrote a script for the movie which the common man could easily connect to. He felt that everyone would relate to the story line as it includes social causes which are faced by people on a daily basis.
Ranbir Singh better known as Rana Ranbir has been in the Punjabi film industry for the past 12 years. During this course of time, he has acted in around 55 films and written 10 films. He started his Pollywood journey as an actor in director Manmohan Singh’s Dil Apna Punjabi and became a writer with Munde U.K. De. With Asees, he will be taking up an altogether new role of a director.
