The Punjabi model turned singer Diljott is stepping into Bollywood and that too opposite the dashing actor Jimmy Sheirgill.
Make My Day Entertainments has embarked upon their foremost Bollywood rom-com ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ and the first schedule comprising the muhurat shot was filmed by DOP Johny Lal yesterday in the beautiful locales of Manali.
The entire unit of the film is staying in Himachal for nearly 10 days during which they’ll be shooting a song choreographed by Firoz A Khan and a few scenes.
While Jimmy has a good line of Bolly and Pollywood films to his credit, ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ is actress Diljott’s first Bollywood film. She has earlier worked in Punjabi film Teshan which bombed at the box office and was also a part of the Hit Punjabi track ‘Patiala Peg’ sung by Diljit Dosanjh.
Produced by Rajat Bakshi, Parmod Gomber, Rajesh Bakshi & Chandan Bakshi this film is a modern day rom-com written by Dilip Shukla and will be completed and released in 2017.
